Who we need
Reporting to the Executive Director of PMO, Vendor Management & Operations, we are looking for a Senior Applications Monitoring Analyst. You will be responsible for administering, upgrading and supporting critical applications and tools that enable but not limited to fraud detection, identity access management, cloud data warehouse, marketing and reporting platforms. You will apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and operational workflow. Your goal will be to ensure our fraud exposure is minimized and supporting our business operations and growth.
This is a hybrid role, working 5 days over a 2 week period in the office.

As our new Senior Applications Monitoring Analyst, you will focus on:
* Application monitoring & support. You will monitor the performance and uptime of critical applications ensuring to minimize any downtime for our customers and colleagues. You will set up and manage monitoring dashboards to detect issues in real-time and perform root cause analysis.
* Upgrades & Maintenance. You will be the primary point of contact to plan, schedule and perform regular application upgrades and patches to maintain system security, performance and compliance. You will also collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure application upgrades are compatible within our current ecosystem.
* Administrative tasks. You will oversee user access controls and manage permissions across applications, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards. You will also maintain accurate records of application configurations, upgrades and performance metrics.
* Collaboration. You will work closely with other departments such as Cybersecurity, Fraud, Legal, Marketing and Member services to assist in documenting processes, workflows and troubleshooting guides for knowledge sharing and effective implementation.
* Performance optimization. You will identify and execute on application performance optimization strategies, including software upgrades, tuning and configuration changes. You will establish KPIs to demonstrate target uptime are met and upgrades are made in a timely manner.
You bring:
* The experience. You have hands-on experience with fraud detection, identity access management, datastore management, marketing and reporting tools and are comfortable with learning application configurations quickly to support member onboarding with the right privileges.
* The analytical drive. You are curious and want to find root causes, resolve problems, and prevent recurring issues. You are innovative with excellent problem-solving skills. You have a growth mindset and work to advance your knowledge of the latest operational and technical challenges.
* The customer focus. You prioritize the experience of your customers, operating with a sense of urgency and empathy. You can independently manage multiple ongoing assignments under tight timelines and navigate the demands of stakeholders. You can translate technical concepts for a nontechnical audience and maintain professional communication and patience. You have a demonstrated ability to work in a respectful manner with groups from diverse backgrounds and with diverse experiences.
* You are proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation of monitoring and support tasks.
* ITIL certification preferred.
