Customer Service Advisor – Jewson Partnership Solutions Competitive Salary - Based in Redditch Mon to Fri (Days) Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) is a brand within Stark UK which specialises in providing solutions for our customers in the Public Sector predominately Housing Associations and Local Authorities. We operate numerous supply solutions in the Midlands with certain contracts which incorporate a dedicated distribution store and a solution to provide van stocks and a wide range of building maintenance materials including plumbing, electrical and ironmongery. Our JPS contracts are buoyant and busy outlets solely focused on our contract with the local council or housing association. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a customer service advisor to join our JPS team in Redditch. Based on the same site as our former Jewson branch in Redditch, the focus of this role is to support the team with stock management, product availability, monitoring van spares, arranging deliveries and overall delivering an excellent service to our client and their tradesmen. As this role supports the local housing association you will need to have a strong knowledge of building materials, this could be from a roofing / plumbing / builder’s / trade merchant / DIY outlet background. As a Customer Service advisor with Jewson Partnership Solutions, you will: Work within the stores team in delivering an excellent customer experience, maintaining strong effective relationships with both the clients’ managers and operatives and suppliers. Support the stores team with achieving KPIs for the store and look for new ways to innovate and drive growth for the business. Support with the management of core stock levels appropriately to reduce shrinkage and transport costs. Have knowledge of the local area Great customer service, written and spoken communication skills. Good attention to detail and organisational skills – basic understanding of excel and word essential. Experience of working within a small team.
