Shift Performance Manager
About the role:

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the shift team to ensure production meets specifications, quality standards, and efficiency targets.
* Uphold and promote safe working practices, ensuring compliance with all health and safety procedures.
* Manage team performance through training, appraisals, mentoring, and succession planning.
* Plan and direct daily operations, maintaining a visible presence on the production floor.
* Communicate effectively with the team through regular meetings, feedback sessions, and performance presentations.
* Optimise production schedules, troubleshoot issues, and maintain operational excellence.
* Engage with cross-functional teams to solve problems and deliver continuous improvement projects.
* Support and drive lean manufacturing initiatives and quality improvement programs.
* Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Essential Criteria:
* At least 3 years' supervisory or management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in WCOM/Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and achieve targets.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Flexibility to work various shift patterns as required.
Desirable Criteria:
* Degree in a manufacturing-related discipline or equivalent.
* NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification.
* Experience with SAP systems.
