Role responsibilities include;
• Develop procurement systems and data
• Manage supply chain performance and drive improvement
• Ensure adherence to supplier contracts in alignment with strategies and policies
• Identify cost-saving opportunities
• Facilitate the efficient and cost-effective flow of materials and tooling through the supply chain
• Establish stock replenishment targets and monitor their achievement.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and act as the primary point of contact for international customs documentation and trade requirements.
• Provide guidance on incoterms to the business
• Lead procurement efforts for special projects and capital equipment
• Analyse and agree on contract terms and conditions, ensuring business risks are managed
Key skills required;
• Proven experience in a Procurement
• In-depth knowledge of NEC3, NEC4, FIDIC or similar contract frameworks
• Experience within Manufacturing / Engineering environments
• Experience of supplier development and supplier performance improvement programmes
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Flexibility to travel as required
