This is a dynamic and forward-thinking school dedicated to providing high-quality education to students. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths/ICT Teacher to join their dedicated team. We are looking for someone with a passion for teaching and a strong commitment to developing students’ skills in both subjects. As a Maths/ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching both Maths and ICT across Key Stage 3, depending on your experience and qualifications. The role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and supporting students’ academic development in both subjects. You will also be expected to contribute to extra-curricular activities and take part in the wider school community. This role begins April 2025.
Duties as a Maths/ICT Teacher:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Maths and ICT.
* Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of students with various abilities.
* Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
* Contribute to curriculum development and review.
* Manage classroom behaviour in a positive and engaging way.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the success of the department.
* Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Ideal Maths/ICT Teacher:
* A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in teaching both Maths and ICT.
* Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for Maths and ICT.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Maths/ICT Teacher
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and teaching.
* A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
