As we continue our mission to make people happy through chocolate, we’re looking for a Social Media & Content Executive to join our Marketing team on a full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and driven Social Superstar to execute Hotel Chocolat’s organic social media activity. The Social Media & Content Executive will be at the forefront of managing the day-to-day of all our owned social platforms, including the creation and editing of high-quality, platform-appropriate content. Working closely with the Social Media Manager and stakeholders across the marketing team and the wider business, you’ll execute compelling social campaigns that drive meaningful engagement with Hotel Chocolat’s growing social community.

Here at Hotel Chocolat, we've adopted hybrid working. This means you’ll join us on-site in Royston for three days a week, and for the other two days – you can work from wherever you like!
What you’ll be doing…
* Owning and executing the Organic Social Media calendar across all Hotel Chocolat’s active platforms, collaborating with marketing teams and other business areas to identify opportunities, plan, create, and implement them.
* Managing the end-to-end production and execution process, ensuring all assets are delivered on time and within budget.
* Creating engaging social-first content, including filming, editing, and distributing appropriately.
* Staying up to date with social media and content trends and executing relevant, engaging content where appropriate.
* Liaising with our social media agency to ensure their deliverables align with our strategic goals.
* Developing creative briefs for the in-house team, UGC content creators, or TikTok content creators to produce compelling assets.
* Providing weekly performance reporting across all platforms, analysing content effectiveness, identifying key lessons, and monitoring consumer, user, and platform trends.
* Proactively identifying new and emerging platforms and formats on social media, encouraging first use where appropriate.
