Our client, a small distribution business, is looking for an Administrator to join their small team in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of administrative experience who is ready to take on new challenges and grow within the business.
Main Responsibilities
1. Order Processing: Accurately input and manage customer orders in the system, ensuring timely updates and communication with customers regarding order status.
2. Organising Deliveries: Coordinate with logistics partners and internal teams to schedule and manage deliveries, ensuring that goods reach customers on time.
3. Customer Support: Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email, providing efficient and friendly service to resolve issues and answer questions.
4. General Administrative Duties: Support the team with filing, data entry, and updating internal systems to maintain organized records and smooth operations.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow across the business.
Required
6. A background in administration (any industry) and customer service experience
7. A proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn
8. Strong communication skills and the confidence to ask questions when needed
9. The ability to thrive in a time-pressured environment and stay organised under pressure
