About the role - Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Hackney Supporting students with behavioural challenges, helping them to engage in learning and classroom activities. Working alongside the class teacher to implement behaviour management strategies. Offering one-on-one and group support for students, promoting positive behaviour choices. Monitoring and tracking students' progress in relation to their behavioural development. Assisting in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with specific behavioural needs. Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to support student behaviour and emotional well-being. Providing pastoral care and acting as a role model to students who need additional support. Managing incidents of challenging behaviour effectively and following the school's behaviour policies. Supporting students during lessons, breaks, and lunch times, ensuring they are well-behaved and safe. Helping to foster a positive and inclusive school environment by supporting students with behavioural needs. Offering feedback and advice to teachers and parents on students' behavioural progress.The Ideal Candidate - Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Hackney Experience working with students who have behavioural and emotional needs is desirable.
