Placements and Brokerage Officer - Grade 8 (£38,934 - £40,755)
Our Placements and Brokerage service supports Adults Social Care by securing high quality, cost-effective and timely placements and packages of care for older people, adults with disabilities and young adults in transition service. The function is vital in ensuring that care is sourced in a compliant and efficient way which brings value for money for the council and a high-quality service for the individual which meets their needs.
This role is an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to have a foot in both strategy and operations and who wants to play a pivotal role in the smooth running of Adults Social Care.
To be successful in this role you will need to be dynamic, solution-focused and a strong relationship builder. We are looking for someone who is able to operate in a fast paced work environment and who has skills in building robust, proactive relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders, including Social Work and other operational staff. You will have the ability to think quickly and respond to demand whilst making safe decisions.
