Job title: Import/Export Clerk
Reports to: Import Manager
Main purpose of the role:
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual who has had at least 5 years of general forwarding experience, especially in Exports.
Key responsibilities:
* Work according to the export process, including all country-specific requirements.
* Responsible for customer contacts.
* Assist in supplier and customer queries.
* Assure timely billing as per company policy.
* Deal with all aspects of Exports.
* Handle all customer issues.
* Provide excellent customer service.
* Ensure correct flow of documentation.
* Able to work independently within the export process.
* Manage all export shipments from start to finish.
* Understand supplier conditions, delivery terms, Inco terms, and purchasing conditions.
* Possess good knowledge of computer systems and invoicing.
* Have knowledge and experience of Customs and documentation.
* Exhibit good communication skills.
* Able to manage own working time effectively.

Salary: £32k - £35k dependent on experience.
Hours: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm.
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays.
