About Our Client
We are assisting a travel, tourism organisation in Widnes recruit for their small finance team on a permanent basis. Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opening has been created within the business.
Job Description
* Processing and payment of 300 invoices per month using SAP
* Credit card statement and expense claim processing
* Posting and allocation of bank transactions
* Preparation and processing of month-end journals
* Preparation of monthly sales analysis, stock reconciliation, and trial balance
* Involvement in year-end audit process, reporting, and provision of information
* Provide cover for other team members as and when required
* Any other ad hoc analysis or information requests to support the business
The Successful Applicant
* Experience within a similar position within manufacturing or wholesale would be desirable but not essential
* Excel skills useful - vlookup / pivot tables
* Numerate with strong analytical skills
* Highly motivated, self-starter, full of initiative, and able to work autonomously
* Team player
