Job Description
What you'll do:
1. Student-Centric Focus: Your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional care and support to our students. This includes guiding them through all aspects of the application process, from subject discussions in February to mock interviews in December.
2. Expert Instruction: Design and deliver personalised lessons covering A-level content, admissions tests, personal statement writing, and interview preparation. Tailor your approach to each student's needs, ensuring effective learning and progress tracking.
3. Curriculum Development: Contribute to our expanding curriculum by developing engaging and effective learning materials for various subject areas, personal statements, admissions tests, and more. You may also have the opportunity to train part-time tutors.
Requirements
Who you are:
1. A highly motivated and experienced tutor with a passion for education.
2. Possess an excellent academic background, ideally a 2:1 undergraduate degree from a G5/Top 20 USA university, Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College or UCL.
3. A degree in Humanities Related Subject (PPE, Health Social & Political Sciences, History, Geography).
4. Prior teaching or tutoring experience, particularly in preparing students for Oxbridge applications, is highly desirable.
5. A strong communicator with the ability to build rapport and motivate students.
6. Excellent organisational skills and a meticulous approach to lesson planning and progress tracking.
