Our client is a large family-run FMCG business in Bedford who are looking for a progressive junior purchase ledger clerk to join their team.
Job Description
The Junior Purchase Ledger Clerk will:
1. Manage and process all payments accurately and timely.
2. Maintain financial records and ensure data accuracy.
3. Collaborate with other team members to achieve department goals.
4. Maintain strict compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
5. Resolve any payment discrepancies or issues.
6. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
7. Support other tasks as directed by the management team within the Accounting & Finance department.
The Successful Applicant
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office.
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong understanding of payment processes and financial regulations.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
