An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to the LLB Law which forms a key part of the Faculty of Social and Life Sciences which is a thriving teaching and research environment that is looking to build on its undergraduate and postgraduate student population. Wrexham University is a forward-thinking and student-focused institution that places great emphasis on its quality of learning and teaching and student experience. We seek to appoint a suitably qualified sessional lecturer with the relevant expertise to deliver the module Property and Land Law to level 6 students. Expertise in this legal subject, referred to in the professional bodies’ qualifying regulations as ‘the Foundations of Legal Knowledge’ is required The individual will deliver elements of the teaching to students including lecturing and tutorials and will assess the assignments. The post holder will have a commitment to working to a widening participation ethos. The ability to speak Welsh as well as marking and providing feedback in Welsh would be highly valuable.
