The Danaher Business System Engineer (DBSE) is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful application of the Danaher Business System (DBS) within the logistics, warehousing, and distribution network with the Americas Region of PALL Corporation, at our Baltimore Distribution Center, located in Nottingham, MD, and supporting our Pall Timonium site, Pall Deland site, Pall Cortland site, Pall New Port Richey site, and Pall Putnam site; with a specific focus in aiding each site to meet or exceed their Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and Policy Deployment (PD) goals and objectives with regards to logistics and warehouse management operations. The DBSE will employ training and learning of the DBS Fundamental and Lean tools, drive Kaizen Funnel Management, support initiatives, projects and grow his/her/they skills and knowledge within DBS.
This position is part of the PALL Corporation Logistics Team and will be located in Nottingham, MD. The PALL Corporation Logistics Team seeks to provide the highest quality and performance of logistical services for both internal and external customers of PALL Corporation.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
1. Innovate new and highly effective standard operating procedures, as well as standard work, for warehouse management that assist in exceeding strategic goals in costs reduction.
2. Lead and develop associates in applying DBS fundamentals and principles in the areas of logistics and distribution.
3. Participate and help facilitate a major initiative to fully automate the distribution network of a leader in the global manufacturing industry.
The essential requirements of the job include:
1. Responsible for driving targeted, sustainable improvement by leveraging DBS tools, consulting skills, and the change management process specifically for OTD (On-Time-Delivery) and Inventory Control metrics.
2. Responsible for providing formal as well as informal DBS training and coaching.
3. Acts as a leader in Policy Deployment and Daily Management reviews (as appropriate).
4. Ensures successful Kaizen events by employing and ensuring compliance to the Kaizen process.
5. Promotes and facilitates diagnosis of work-flow impediments and other wastes throughout the business. Provides expert counsel on appropriate DBS tools to eliminate waste and support costs-reduction strategies.
6. Lead change management and establish strong DBS culture and methodologies within each logistical component of the supply chain.
7. Performs and supports initiatives, projects and other duties as assigned.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
1. Required to travel up to 20% of business days every two weeks within the continental U.S. and an occasional travel out of the country.
2. Must have a valid driver’s license.
3. Current passport is recommended.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
1. Minimum of two years of experience with proven process improvement and change management skills (required).
2. Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management (preferred).
3. Demonstrated proficiency applying lean principles specifically in warehousing and distribution settings (preferred).

The salary range for this role is $80K to $110K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
