Marketing Manager
Job Location: Poole, Dorset
Job Type: Contract (12-month Maternity Contract)
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm with a 4pm finish on Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager on a 12-month maternity to work with a leading company who design, manufacture and supply electrical lighting products to both the B2C & B2B market.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be involved in all aspects of marketing for one of their prestigious and established brands, contributing to the growth and development.
Although the company has a marketing team, you will be working for a specific brand that will see you work independently with the support of an assistant.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing campaigns from briefing to approval including proof reading
2. Contributing to ideas and copy for customer communications and promotional product material
3. Researching, writing and gaining feedback for marketing copy to be used in marketing material
4. Supporting the team with the execution of digital campaigns using email, social media, corporate and customer websites
5. Supporting the team in the creation of catalogues and other printed collateral
6. Supporting from a marketing perspective the co-ordination of national and customer trade shows - organising displays, production of branded materials, and sales literature
The successful applicant will possess:
1. 3 years + experience within a Marketing Manager role
2. Experience of leading a small team to deliver high level marketing content
3. A creative mindset with a good eye & passion for product marketing
4. Ability to build relationships across various internal departments including sales, design and production
5. Excellent attention to detail, to a proof-reading level
This role will involve occasional travel to other sites & showrooms within the brand.
