As we gear up for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, we are looking for a talented Assistant Producer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global brand, driving content strategy and production for one of the most exciting sporting events of the year.
As an Assistant Producer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production team throughout all stages of DAZN’s FIFA Club World Cup coverage. You will assist in content planning, research, scripting, edit producing, and live production support, ensuring smooth and high-quality delivery across multiple platforms.
Key responsibilities
* Assist in researching and developing storylines, scripting segments, and preparing production elements
* Support the production of match previews, highlight packages, and feature pieces, ensuring engaging storytelling
* Work closely with producers, directors, and talent to ensure seamless execution during live broadcasts
* Assist in logging, selecting, and organising footage for edits and playback
* Collaborate with graphics teams to ensure accurate data, stats, and visuals enhance the broadcast
* Support commentators, analysts, and presenters with research, scripts, and key talking points
* Assist in on-location or studio operations, troubleshooting any production challenges as needed
* Help with content reviews, highlight edits, and show wrap-ups, ensuring high editorial standards
* Assist in repurposing content for DAZN’s social, digital, and VOD platforms.
What we’re looking for
* Previous experience in sports broadcasting or live production, ideally as an Assistant Producer, Production Assistant, or Junior Producer.
* Good experience of live sport OB production - working across analysis, VT, graphics and ENG filming.
* Strong knowledge of football storytelling, match analysis, and sports journalism.
* Familiarity with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Avid), VT workflows, and live production tools.
* Ability to work effectively with producers, talent, and technical teams under tight deadlines.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Quick thinker who can troubleshoot and adapt in high-pressure live broadcast environments.
* Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and travel as needed during the tournament.
