About the role
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key retail partners to drive online and in store sales and brand presence.
The role requires a strategic thinker with deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape, strong analytical skills, and a passion for golf.
Key Tasks:
Account Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key e-commerce accounts, ensuring alignment with Mizuno Golf EMEA strategic objectives.
Sales Growth
Drive growth in the e-commerce channel by effectively managing product assortment, promotional calendars, content, and pricing strategies.
Performance Analysis
Monitor and analyse performance metrics to optimize product visibility, availability, and overall account performance.
Strategic Planning
Develop and execute annual joint business plans with e-commerce partners, aligning mutual objectives and strategies.
Market Analysis
Conduct competitive analysis to evaluate market trends, identify new opportunities, and inform strategic decisions.
Cross Functional Collaborations
Work closely with internal sales teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service to ensure a cohesive approach to e-commerce initiatives.
Key Skills:
* Degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field.
* Proven experience in e-commerce account management, preferably withing the sporting goods or related industry.
* Strong understanding of the UK e-commerce landscape and key online retail platforms.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
* Excellent analytical skills within proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Passion for golf and advanced knowledge of Mizuno’s product offering is a plus.
* Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
* Full UK driving licence.
* This role will be mainly covering key accounts in the Midlands & North region of the UK - must be able to drive to various locations in these areas.
