Job Title: Senior Human Resources Advisor – Manufacturing (4 days per week considered) Location: Nottingham (Can be based from Crewe or Nottingham), We would be open to 4 days per week. There will be a requirement to visit sites across the UK to support onsite project or ER activity, including time spent away from home, no more than 2 days per week. As a Senior HR Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of HR for Manufacturing to deliver our central HR strategy and drive key group projects. This is your chance to be at the heart of our people strategy, ensuring that our manufacturing site teams are engaged, developed, and empowered to achieve their best. What You Will Be Doing Strategic Support: Assist the Head of HR in delivering the Manufacturing HR strategy, including involvement in group-wide projects that shape the future of our workforce. Talent Management: Lead the delivery of the central manufacturing talent review cycle, supporting central teams with talent mapping, succession planning, and initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent. Training & Development: Deliver workshops and training sessions to equip colleagues with the HR tools they need, ensuring they’re confident and capable in their roles. Employee Engagement: Play a key role in analysing our annual engagement survey results, crafting actionable plans to boost engagement within our central manufacturing functions. Data-Driven Insights: Analyse HR data and KPIs to identify trends and risk areas, presenting your findings to senior leadership and developing action plans for improvement. Cultural Ambassador: Drive our cultural agenda, embedding our values across the group and spearheading new initiatives to enhance our workplace culture. Employee Relations: Manage day-to-day Employee Relations (ER) cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management, while analysing trends to recommend improvements. Absence Management: Oversee absence management processes, ensuring managers and colleagues are supported every step of the way Consultation Management: Lead consultation processes, including changes of terms, redundancy, and TUPE, providing expert guidance and support. Speak Up & Whistle blowing: With support of the Head of HR ensure any speak up cases are managed effectively, ensuring reporting and audit trail of closure. Lead/support large and complex investigations. TCFG Ethical Standard: Play an active role in ensuring central governance of our Ethical standards, including developing policies, procedures and conducting site audits. (E.g SMETA, Stronger Together) Who We’re Looking For Qualifications: Degree and/or CIPD certification (Level 5 minimum) required. Experience: Demonstrated experience in HR advisory roles, ideally within a fast-paced multi location large FMCG environment. Legal Expertise: Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels. Proactive Attitude: A collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation. PC Skills: Strong HR reporting and presentation skills (Excel & PowerPoint) What's in it for you?
