### Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
* Support residents with mobility needs, encouraging independence and the use of mobility aids.
* Assist with medication rounds (if medication trained), ensuring the correct medication is administered safely.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records in line with company procedures.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, creating a warm and caring environment.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by identifying and reporting any changes in their physical or mental condition.
* Work as part of a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of elderly care are met, in accordance with care plans and regulations.
* Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are followed.
* Help maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and health and safety standards.
* Collaborate with other staff members and families to deliver the best care possible for each resident.

### Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Care Assistant, ideally within a nursing home or care home setting.
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care is required (Level 3 is desirable).
* Medication training is beneficial but not essential.
* Experience working with elderly residents, including those with dementia and other age-related conditions.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative, especially during day shifts and weekends.
* Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach to care.
* Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues in a collaborative, professional manner.
