Bryanston has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Sport graduate or coach to assist with our sport provision, initially for one year.
This role would ideally suit a Sport graduate with experience as a player or early-career coach in Netball or Hockey, who is interested in exploring the teaching profession and gaining experience in the large and thriving Sport and Physical Education Department of a busy co-ed boarding school.
Bryanston is a world-class co-educational full-boarding school surrounded by Dorset countryside, and provides an outstanding education for 780 pupils aged 3-18. Sport is at the heart of what Bryanston pupils choose to do outside the classroom and our core sports include football, rugby, hockey, cricket, netball, tennis, equestrian and rowing. We are delighted to have a history of pupils who play representative sport at National level, and we are also a satellite Centre for TeamBath Netball. Set in 400-acres of Dorset countryside, our sports facilities are exceptional and include sports pitches, an equestrian centre, rowing on the river Stour, tennis courts, a climbing tower, indoor bouldering wall and sports centre.GB Sevens, Dorset Cricket
The role will involve residing in staff accommodation and playing a central role in running the boarding house. There is a vibrant community of staff living on site, many of whom also undertake residential boarding house duties with accommodation provided. Full induction and support will be available, and although this is an appointment for one academic year in the first instance, there may be an opportunity for the right candidate to have their employment extended as part of our in-post PGCE teacher training programme, in due course.
Bryanston offers a competitive package, including:
* Free accommodation
* Free meals
* Training and development opportunities
* Free gym membership and access to our state-of-the-art sports facilities, including a 25m indoor swimming pool
* Life assurance at 3 times salary
* Employee assistance and wellbeing support programme
* A staff benefits platform including perks and discounts, travel and lifestyle, cycle scheme and more.
