Taylor Rose are recruiting for a new Learning and Development Manager to join the HR team, based in our Peterborough office.

We are looking for an experienced L&D Manager to manage the existing business system trainers and drive delivery of engaging training solutions.
The L&D Manager will manage the full training cycle for all employees, training needs analysis, design and evaluation of business skills and programmes. Working collaboratively with HR and Heads of Department to ensure a joined-up learning experience for both firm-wide regulatory training and department specific training needs.
The L&D Manager will also work with the Consultancy programme to ensure that business systems training is implemented effectively for all consultants within Taylor Rose and updated to reflect both regulatory and system changes.
As our L&D Manager, you will work with the HR Director on the L&D aspects within our people strategy, and work alongside Heads of Department across the firm to create and deliver engaging training for their specific areas.

We work Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, offering 26 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays, Pension, Company Events and a commitment to Training and Development opportunities.
This role
* Partner with head of departments to understand business needs and deliver bespoke learning solutions at all levels.
* Design, develop, and implement innovative L&D initiatives, from workshops, online learning to leadership programmes.
* Maintain the Training Hub and ensure all department areas meet the requirements set within the L&D strategy for learning.
* Work with the HR Director on setting the L&D budget within the business and effective use of Apprentice Levy.
* Shape our culture by supporting employee engagement, onboarding, and career development and progression at all levels in the business.
* Collaborate with external providers to support delivery of training programmes.
* Use data and feedback to continuously analyse, improve and evolve our learning offerings.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar L&D role, ideally within a professional services environment or law firm.
* Proven experience delivering engaging and impactful presentations, and strong facilitation skills.
* Experience of facilitating and designing leadership programmes using the most up to date learning methodologies and technologies, tailoring to specific audiences.
* Management of L&D team to deliver effective training.
* Good content knowledge of soft skills and train accordingly.
* L&D qualifications such as CIPD or coaching qualifications such as ILM or CMI L5/7 is preferred.
* Experienced using digital training technologies to enable a blended learning approach is preferred to ensure training can be delivered across a hybrid working business.
* Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
