Movement into the band 6 position will occur at the earliest opportunity once competencies & objectives have been met to allow safe practice. We anticipate that successful candidates will move to a band 6 pay-point within 4-8 months depending on experience & development opportunities. The team delivers physiotherapy services to children & young people aged 0-19 years within acute & community settings. There will be opportunities to work in the children's outpatients with both musculoskeletal & neuro-disability caseloads, the children's inpatient ward, Redway School & hydrotherapy. We have re-establishing 12 month band 6 rotations within the department to allow experience in these different areas. You will involve working in the department based in Stony Stratford Health Centre, MKUH site & Redway School. To provide high quality evidence-based assessment and treatment of children and young people aged 0-19 presenting a range of conditions. To hold responsibility for own caseload and assist other team members with theirs as required. To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner. To undertake evidence-based audit and quality improvement projects to further own and the teams clinical practice as required.
