Key Account Manager – UK and ROI - Medium and Heavy Line Business - Commercial Vehicles. Location – fully flexible around where you are based. £ 56,000 - £ 66,000 p.a. plus exponential bonus plan, Car (including choice of hybrids), Private Medical Insurance, plus a range of flexible benefits including dental etc. You've got a burst pipe, and your kitchen has been transformed into a scene from Titanic. Who do you call? I'll give you a clue, it's not Ghostbusters. You'd obviously call someone who's experienced enough to sort it out. The apparent choice being your local plumber. This is where we hear the all-important word of ‘experience' and for this role, we're looking for someone with a proven track record in selling Commercial Vehicles, it's just something we cannot budge on, even though I'm sure the Ghostbusters could handle a bit of water. You'll be using your collected knowledge to sell medium to heavy commercial vehicles both direct and indirect to ensure coverage of the available market and channels in a region based on where you live. It's about finding the right person (you?) and then we can make the location and accounts work around you. So as long as you're not on a remote island off the North Sea, we can work with the whole of the country. Reporting to the National Key Account Manager you'll define your market strategy (with their support) and execute it in collaboration with the wider sales team and the Dealer network, to deliver and maximise market share. The role will require a combination of ‘hunting' and ‘farming' – offering both a safe yield with existing accounts whilst exploring new conquest accounts to add continual growth. You'll champion best practice and lead a constant improvement approach to customers, dealers, and manufacturer interactions. Your polished and professional approach lends itself to the management of key corporate customers, always having awareness of price optimisation and product availability to meet their demands. You thrive in front of customers, build meaningful business relationships with senior players and communicate effortlessly with clarity and confidence. You're fully accustomed to how the tendering process works, your faultless when it comes to attention to detail, and you enjoy working cross functionally to get the best offering in front of the customer. Your experience comes into its own on product knowledge, you know who the players are and where they are placed – nobody makes a poor truck anymore so it's more about you and how you can develop and foster relationships to gain the cutting edge. You're dynamic when it comes to problem solving, and you'll find a way to make things happen where others would flounder. You're fair and open and your entrepreneurial nature encourages others to think alike. You're a modern-day leader that leads from the front and you're decisive, making key decisions based on intuition and data, yet still approachable and highly respected. Why consider a move to this organisation? We're wanting to nurture the ambition that drives you and provide a platform for you to really shine and develop within the organisation.
