Electrical Design Engineer - Control Panels
Location: Southampton, United Kingdom
Position: Full time
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Equipment Selection and Purchasing
2. Design of Control Panel Schematic Diagrams and General Arrangements from User Requirement Specifications and Control Philosophies
3. Production of documentation packages for our workshop operatives
4. Production of Operation and Maintenance Manuals
5. Onsite Fault Finding and Modification of Electrical Control Systems
6. Creation of Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Site Progress Reports, and other paperwork
Skills / Background:
1. Currently or previously working as an Electrical Controls Design Engineer
2. Good understanding of BSEN 61439 LV Directive
3. Qualified electrical engineer or by experience
4. Experienced AutoCAD user (ability to use Promis-e would be advantageous but not essential as training can be given)
5. Client facing with excellent interpersonal skills
6. Hard working and self-motivated
