We are currently looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Luton, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As a Occupational Therapist, you will be working in an acute and rotational setting in a hospital to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service.

Your main responsibilities as a Occupational Therapist:
4. Assess, treat and rehabilitate patients in close co-operation with the multi-disciplinary team.
5. Hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a specific area or ward, working without direct supervision
6. Assess, prescribe and make appropriate recommendations for treatment, discharge planning and equipment.
7. Delegate caseload to other team members appropriately and oversee clinical tasks undertaken by assistants /students and provide appropriate relevant feedback
8. Carry out assessments and discharges on the Acute wards on a Saturday or Sunday on an additional hours rota basis
What we are looking for in a Occupational Therapist:
9. HCPC registered
10. BSc in Occupational Therapy
