Job Title: Field Electrical Fitter (Rolling Stock) Location: Multiple sites across London Salary: £43,000 per annum overtime on-call pay Hours: 40 hours per week Shifts: Monday to Friday - Days Start Date: Immediate Company Overview: Our client is a leading manufacturer and frontline supplier of powertrain products in the UK and Ireland, specializing in engine overhaul, final drive overhaul, and locomotive refurbishment. Role Overview: This is an excellent opportunity to join a globally recognized Rolling Stock company on a permanent basis. As a Product Support Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing pantograph shoe gear at multiple sites across London. The role involves responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and implementing effective solutions. You will travel to customer sites using a company-provided van and liaise with both internal teams and customers to ensure efficient resolution of issues. Key Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for technical support and advice. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on-site and carry out necessary repairs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to achieve the best possible outcomes. Apply mechanical engineering expertise to resolve issues efficiently. Participate in on-call duties every other weekend. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of electrical experience working on large vehicles, preferably Rolling Stock. NVQ Level 3 qualification in an electrical discipline. Full, clean UK driving licence. Experience in engine fault finding and diagnosis. What's on Offer?
