Core Subjects Tutor
Location: Nottinghamshire (NG17)
The Role: As a Core Subjects Tutor, you will provide personalised tutoring sessions in the following key areas:
* English
* Mathematics
* Science
You will work closely with students, identifying their learning needs and adapting your teaching approach to suit individual requirements. Whether providing support for GCSE, A-Level, or Key Stage 2 & 3, your role will focus on building confidence, improving subject knowledge, and fostering a positive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, interactive lessons in your specialised subject areas
* Assess students’ progress and adapt lessons accordingly to meet their learning needs
* Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve
* Develop and implement personalised study plans
* Motivate and inspire students to achieve their best academic results
* Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
Essential Skills and Experience:
* A strong academic background in English, Mathematics, and/or Science (degree level or equivalent)
* Previous teaching/tutoring experience, ideally in core subjects
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A passion for education and helping students reach their full potential
* Ability to work independently and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
* Experience working with students at various academic levels
