Location: Oldbury
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30
Job Description:
The Sales Administrator will support the sales team in achieving their goals. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient sales operations, streamlining administrative processes, and ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting the sales team in order processing, tracking, and managing customer accounts.
2. Preparing and distributing sales quotations and proposals.
3. Coordinating and scheduling sales meetings and appointments.
4. Maintaining and updating customer databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
5. Handling customer inquiries and providing outstanding customer service.
6. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time.
7. Assisting in managing sales reports and data analysis.
8. Contributing to the preparation of sales presentations and marketing materials.
9. Handling administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and general office support.
10. Contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in a sales or administrative role is essential.
2. Experience in the metals/manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
3. Strong organisational and time management skills.
4. Exceptional attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
