St Mary & St Margaret’s CE Primary School is offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team. About the Role As an Apprentice Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced staff to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a school setting while working towards a formal qualification in childcare and education. You will support the delivery of engaging activities, assist in the classroom, and help ensure that every child receives the care and attention they need to thrive in their early education. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities for children in the EYFS. • Provide one-to-one and small group support to children to aid their development. • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. • Assist in observing and recording children's progress, and work with the teacher to support their development. • Help children with personal care and ensure their well-being throughout the school day. • Work alongside staff to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and other team members.
