The Role:
This role involves providing both remote and on-site technical support for interactive monitors as part of a major UK contract. You will work with customers to resolve issues via email, phone, and visits. Additionally, you will have opportunities to work in other areas of the business, such as network cabling teams and stock management, enabling you to learn various key responsibilities vital to our business operation.
* You will be responsible for supporting and repairing a range of interactive touchscreen monitors.
* You will provide both remote (phone and email) and on-site technical support.
* Repairs will involve swapping out modular components, including hardware, software, and firmware upgrades.
* You will drive the company van, which includes relevant tools and equipment.
* Alongside your AV repair work, you will assist our cabling department on new construction installation projects.
* You will also help manage stock and warehouse activity.
Requirements:
* You should be technically astute with a good understanding of AV and Windows.
* Confident with hardware repairs, including opening devices to replace components.
* Willingness to get involved in cabling and hardware installations when not busy with AV repairs.
* Holding a full UK driving license is essential.
* You should be willing to travel and stay away (UK only) when required.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience driving a Ford transit-style van.
* Previous experience in store/stock management.
