This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to enhancing the educational experiences and outcomes of students with SEN. About the Role: As an SEN Learning Support, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised assistance to students with a variety of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will involve working closely with teachers, SEN coordinators and other support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. SEN Learning Support Responsibilities: Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group assistance to students with SEN. Help students engage with the curriculum and complete tasks that align with their individual needs. Support the teacher in delivering lessons that are adapted to suit the learning styles of each student. Track and monitor students' progress, adjusting support as needed to ensure success. Work alongside other education professionals, such as SENCOs, to ensure that students receive high-quality, individualised support. SEN Learning Support Job Requirements: Relevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs or Learning Support are highly desirable. Previous experience working with students with SEN is preferable. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. A compassionate and patient approach when supporting children with additional learning needs. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Have an updated CV ( covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps ) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
