Deputy Site Lead Based Onsite at Rolls-Royce Raynesway, Derby Job Summary: Acting as deputy to the Site Lead, you will be directly supporting the management of a portfolio of properties, leading a team of professionals, and ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality facilities management and small work project services to our clients. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining strong client relationships and driving operational excellence. Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build and foster strong relationships with key clients, understanding their specific requirements, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Become a key point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, resolving issues, and delivering superior service. Team Leadership and Development: Lead a team of facility managers, small work project managers, and associated IFM support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide direction, guidance, and mentorship to team members, enabling their professional growth. Conduct regular performance evaluations, establish clear goals, and ensure the team meets or exceeds expectations. Facilities Management: Develop and implement robust facilities management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient operations across the portfolio. Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, budgets, and vendor management. Monitor key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to optimize facility performance. Small Works Project Management: Oversee a Small Works team, who deliver a diverse range of projects, ensuring timely delivery. Where required, collaborate with various stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and budgets. Financial Management: Supporting the Site Lead, understand annual budgets for facilities management and related activities. Supporting the Site Lead, monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to enhance profitability. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facility Management, Construction Management, or any related field. Proven experience of at least 10 years in facilities management and project management roles, preferably in the Real Estate industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Excellent communication and people skills to build and maintain client relationships. Solid financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Strong critical thinking skills and ability to drive innovative solutions. Proficient in project management tools and software. Professional certifications such as CFM, PMP, or MRICS are highly desirable.
