Purchase Ledger & Accounts Clerk
Laindon – Office based – Must Drive due to location
Full-time – Permanent - Monday – Friday 9-5pm
Salary: £24k - £27k
You'll be handling our day-to-day supplier invoices, keeping our purchase ledger tidy, and making sure our payments go out on time. It’s a key role that helps keep the business ticking along smoothly.
Duties:
* Processing and checking supplier invoices
* Matching up invoices with POs and delivery notes
* Sorting out any invoice queries with suppliers
* Prepping payment runs
* Helping with reconciliations and month-end bits
* Supporting the rest of the finance team where needed
* What we’re looking for:
* Some experience working in a similar role (purchase ledger/accounts payable)
* Great attention to detail
* Good with numbers and Excel
* Experience with finance software (Sage, Xero, or similar would be a bonus)
* A team player with a can-do attitude
