As the Regional Technical Lead, you will oversee the full software lifecycle for COS, managing both internal and external tech solutions. This includes day-to-day backlog delivery and leading innovative projects. The role requires end-to-end ownership, focusing on creating customer value, driving growth, and aligning with COS's strategic goals. Collaboration with the COS Global Tech team is key to shaping the tech vision and optimizing impact.
This role reports to the Global Head of Tech Development based in London.
What you will do:
1. Create and manage the strategic tech roadmap in the APAC region to deliver more value for our customers.
2. Grow tech capabilities in new and existing markets, channels, and marketplaces in the APAC region to meet business targets (e.g., sales and profit).
3. Create exceptional customer value for COS by developing efficient and consistent tech solutions in collaboration with external partners.
4. Lead the technical teams across COS, partners, and the H&M group to execute on backlog and roadmap.
5. Bridge the need for technical skills between our business teams in the region and our external partners to drive more outcomes.
6. Collaborate closely with the global Tech Lead to act, learn, and adapt from a regional perspective.
7. Use Agile methodology (e.g., DevSecOps) and incorporate traditional waterfall models when appropriate based on delivery objectives and teams.
8. Apply an aligned prioritization model suited to the delivery objectives and collaborative teams.
9. Provide market and competitor analysis to relevant stakeholders to inform product prioritization within the roadmap.
10. Facilitate ceremonies and planning sessions with external partners and local business teams.
11. Recommend and conclude discussions around MVP development, technical capabilities, and architectural landscape with COS functions, H&M Group functions, and partners.
12. Promote an agile mindset and approach across our brand, group functions, and partners.

What you need to succeed
* Proven experience in Tech Leadership & Delivery in a regional capacity.
* Experience working with partners and vendors on cross-functional regional projects.
* Experience with marketplaces, social shopping channels, and other external sales channels in APAC.
* Experience delivering both incremental improvements and larger tech projects.
* Strong communication skills, experience in detailed documentation, and structured work practices.
* Proficiency with Agile methodologies including Scrum, and tools like Jira and Confluence.
* Experience with tech lifecycle management (DevSecOps) to maximize value.
* Commercial skills in partnerships, including identifying, evaluating, and negotiating tech opportunities.
* A team player who thrives in distributed teams across different locations and time zones.
