Your new companyHays are working with a well-known construction company in the Worcestershire area who are looking to welcome an Accounts Assistant to their team due to company growth.Your new role
* Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and in a timely manner
* Processing Goods Received Notes against Purchase orders
* Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
* Preparing payment runs for Purchase Ledger and Subcontractor Ledger
* Liaising with the Procurement department to resolve supplier queries
* Processing of Subcontractor payment certificates
* Running CIS Statements
* Processing of Staff Expenses
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable Role
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Knowledge of Excel, Bacs & Microsoft Dynamics (not essential as training will be given)
* Organised and methodical
* Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues
