Job Description
It is essential that candidates have a Degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent, proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, be self-motivated and have excellent communication skills.
A Knowledge of NEC contract compilation and administration and a current full driving licence is essential.
It is appropriate that you have the ability to cope with pressure, be organised within operational team to ensure deadlines are met. Be able to manage your own performance as well as a small team of roads technicians and roads inspectors. Manage your teams workload and ensure at statutory timescale are met. Communicate with elected members and stake holders daily and provided excellent customer service.
Previous experience of dealing with the public and statutory agencies, supervisory skills, IT skills and the ability to work alone or as part of a team is essential.
