Here at Orchard, we are looking for an office manager to work with our client who is based in Driffield.
Responsibilities:
1. Attend meetings with Directors;
2. Management of customer complaints and investigation into all non-operational complaints;
3. Maintaining employees' training records and taking a proactive approach to booking company training within correct time frames;
4. Management and maintenance of internal systems;
5. A proactive approach;
6. Organising social events and offsites;
7. Running weekly and monthly payrolls including maintaining absence records;
8. Line management responsibilities where appropriate, including management of office staff, liaising between managers/teaching staff and support staff;
9. Payroll and CIS administration;
10. Assisting in organising bookings for travel and hotels for the contractors;
11. General legal compliance duties for the firm;
12. Handling all office contracts.
Requirements:
1. Ability to work within a team and on own initiative;
2. Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information;
3. Excellent organisational skills;
4. Previous experience of working in an office manager role;
5. Excellent PC skills required;
6. A relevant degree is desirable;
7. Polite telephone manner;
8. Strong interpersonal skills;
9. Be able to work unsupervised;
10. Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to work with a wide range of people at all levels;
11. Positive attitude, quick learner, highly disciplined and able to work under pressure;
12. Excellent problem-solving skills and the initiative to tackle challenges;
13. Hardworking - prepared to go the extra mile;
14. Environmentally aware and cost-conscious.
