Job Type: Fixed Term Contract initially for 12 months
Location: This role could be based in either our Wythall or Telford offices with time spent working in the office and at home.
Flexible working: All of our roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.

The role
We are looking for a Finance Project Manager who is experienced in delivering transformational change for our Finance stakeholders in a fast paced and complex environment. The role holder will be responsible for the management of Actuarial projects within a Programme, working with a wider team of PM’s, PMO, BA’s, SMEs and senior managers to deliver projects that support Group Reporting & Tax outcomes. You will be experienced in using different delivery methodologies across Finance and IT as well as building and maintaining relationships with a cross functional set of stakeholders and focused on delivery of outcomes and benefits.
What are we looking for?
1. Experience in delivering Actuarial and IT projects and able to work in a complex, ambiguous and time constrained environment
2. Ability to work with relevant business stakeholders and the project/programme team to scope, define and plan the Finance deliveries required to support Group Reporting & Tax outcomes via a number of projects
3. Develop and deliver an appropriate project/programme plan and source appropriate resources to ensure projects are adequately resourced and able to deliver
4. Enable compliance with governance and a strong control environment for the programme / projects in line with the Phoenix Change Management Framework
5. Produce and actively maintain good quality project/programme documentation, including, actions, decisions, RAID logs, change requests, incidents and governance in line with the project objectives to ensure successful delivery
6. Ability to identify and manage inter-dependencies both within and outside of the Project
7. Strong stakeholder management and business readiness acumen to support successful handover of change to the business and benefits realisation
