I am working with a Bristol based company who develop technology to monitor and repair electrical systems.
They help to keep the lights on, and the machines running in some very complex and challenging environments!
They are going through a period of growth.
They are looking for a Hardware Engineering Manager to join their team
You will be involved in the full lifecycle delivery of product planning, design, implementation, testing, and integration, as well as maintaining R and D activities.
There is a lot of exciting Greenfield work within this role. There will be some maintenance, but as this is R and D biased, you will work predominantly on Greenfield projects.
This role is a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, you may be required to go in more often depending on business need.

Key Responsibilities:
50/50 leadership and hands on
Managing the engineering team
You will design, deliver, and test Hardware Products
Evaluate systems, products and components through simulation and research
Own the electrical and electronic hardware design technical documentation
Experience:
Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
You should have hands on experience with:
Electronic Engineering
Building PCB's
Following best practice using design principles and quality standards
Altium, PDM Vault, SolidWorks
Team Management (You will also be considered if you are looking to progress into management, and can evidence leadership skills through your work history)
Desirable:
Experience or knowledge of Firmware
ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001, ISO45001 familiarity
