A new position has become available due to rapid expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity for a world-class Video Editor to play a key role in growing OhChat’s social media presence and promoting our platform, as well as our celebrity creators. This role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience, ideally working on social media-style content either for a brand, agency, or creator. This role will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Purpose of the Role
We’re looking for a full-time Video Editor to elevate our content across all social channels, driving growth and brand awareness through compelling, engaging, and highly shareable video. You’ll work closely with our CMO to produce a wide range of promotional content - from high-impact trailers for our celebrity creators to platform education and growth-focused video assets.
You’ll need a sharp eye for storytelling, a deep understanding of social-first formats, and the technical chops to deliver fast, creative, and polished edits that perform.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create original, high-quality video content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms.
* Edit footage into snappy, engaging cuts that capture attention quickly and align with social best practices.
* Develop creative promotional content to launch new creators and spotlight our digital twin technology.
* Produce educational videos that help explain how OhChat works and drive user adoption.
* Create short-form content optimized for virality and audience engagement.
* Work with the CMO to ideate and storyboard campaigns, bringing new content formats to life.
* Stay ahead of social and cultural trends to ensure Oh’s video content feels fresh, modern, and high-performing.
* Manage and organize raw assets, templates, and project files for efficient workflows.
* Occasionally support internal team content needs (e.g., investor videos, recruitment sizzles, behind-the-scenes content).
Skills and Experience Required
* 5+ years of professional experience editing video for B2C audiences, with a strong portfolio of social content.
* Expert in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent); motion design skills in After Effects are also required.
* Deep knowledge of how to craft content that performs on different platforms, especially TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.
* Experience working with or for creators, consumer tech brands, or startups.
* Ability to balance creative vision with performance goals—always editing with the audience in mind.
* Strong sense of pace, storytelling, and visual rhythm.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work quickly and independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating rapidly on ideas.
