Key Responsibilities:
As a General Assembly Operative, you will work as part of a small team to perform manufacturing functions in accordance with relevant standards and certification procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Mechanical assembly
* Hydro testing
* Wiring assemblies
* Preparation and cleaning down of finished product
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
* Reading and comprehending instructions and following established procedures.
* Collecting all materials and equipment needed for the process.
* Taking precision measurements to ensure the perfect fit of components.
* Selecting or modifying components based on measurements and specifications.
* Aligning materials and assembling parts to create complex units.
* Conducting quality checks to ensure the highest product quality.
* Maintaining equipment in good, clean condition.
* Reporting any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts.
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Skills:
* Use of hand tools is an advantage
* Full training will be given on the above.
Ideal Candidate:
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
* Proven experience as an assembler is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
* Technical knowledge and the ability to read drawings and adhere to procedures.
* Competence in using tools and machines.
* A good understanding of quality control principles.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Exceptional hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
* A strong commitment to health and safety practices.
Salary:
From £11.50 per hour plus.
