* To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
* Proven experience managing and optimizing a diverse infrastructure stack.
* Proficiency in managing Linux-based server infrastructure and hypervisors, including Red Hat, Debian, and VMware ESXi, along with expertise in Linux system administration.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, as well as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
* Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, including VMware and Proxmox.
* Experience with containers (Docker, LXC) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
* Knowledge of shared storage solutions (SAN, NAS, cloud storage) and immutable backup systems.
* Understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
* Experience in configuring and managing load balancers (e.g., Nginx) and network monitoring tools.
* Proficiency in DNS management, troubleshooting, and network security best practices.
* Skilled in using monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Prometheus, Elasticsearch).
* Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash) for automation and system efficiency.
* Experience with packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark) for diagnosing network issues.
* Familiarity with command-line tools like ipconfig/ifconfig for network configuration analysis and DNS diagnostics.
* Knowledge of SNMP-based tools for monitoring network device performance.
* Experience with NetFlow for comprehensive network traffic analysis.
* Familiarity with OpenLDAP authentication.
* Skilled in using tools such as iostat, vmstat, and dstat for assessing storage and system performance.
* Competency in managing file systems and disk partitions using tools like df, du, lsblk, and fdisk.
* Familiarity with configuration management systems, such as Ansible, Puppet or similar technologies.
