We are looking for C developers to work on our clients Customer Care and Billing products. The role involves participation in the entire software development life cycle from conception to design, development, and release.
This is an opportunity for a passionate software developer to deliver high quality solutions in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understanding customers product business requirements.
2. Development:
1. Understanding proposed high-level solutions.
2. Design and development of customizations to revenue manager products like Mediation, Rating, Billing, Bill Printing, Provisioning, etc.
3. Conduct code reviews.
4. Support bug fixing.
3. Testing:
1. Unit testing of developed changes.
2. Supporting the testing team and resolving issues from testing.
4. Release:
1. Supporting the build & release team by providing any additional build and release instructions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 5 to 15 years of software development experience with strong technical, analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience of working in the Telecoms industry would be an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
1. Good technical skills and experience in C, Pro*C on Linux, shell scripting, RDBMS concepts, SQL, PL/SQL, and XML.
2. Experience with DBMS technology like Oracle 11+.
3. Able to use source control systems and debugging tools (preferably GIT based).
4. Understanding of the software development life cycle, software design, and development experience.
5. Prior knowledge of the Telecom domain and exposure to working on other related technologies would be desirable.
