Job Description
The Mechanical Data Centre team is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Mechanical BIM (Revit) Modeller / manager for immediate employment in the Aldgate / St Albans / Manchester / Cardiff office.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will have proven experience working on the digital delivery of building projects, including documentation and data deliverables, an understanding of Mechanical engineering technology, REVIT, and familiarity with the Mechanical design of Data Centres. The successful candidate will have a high level of initiative, motivation, and display drive, energy, and enthusiasm for getting things done. Your proficiency in using Revit, BIM360, and other digital tools to deliver detailed design documentation, coupled with your experience in working successfully across multidisciplinary teams, is essential. Our Data Centre team is active across the UK&I and the EMEA region.
Responsibilities:
* CAD operating and designing for Mechanical systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
* Ensuring overall data quality and integrity of REVIT models.
* Preparing Mechanical and PHE design drawings.
* Preparing documentation for design projects and reports.
* Undertaking quality control procedures.
* Working within a team environment and communicating effectively with other project team members and customers.
* Assuring that engineering-related issues are promptly relayed to the Project Manager for action and supporting the timeliness of resolution efforts.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
* College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or other relevant field of study.
Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Relevant experience using Revit and AutoCAD (version 2010 or later) and 3D capable.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Possess excellent written and communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients.
