Position: PMO Analyst
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Warwick (2-3 days per week on-site)
Day Rate: Circa* £500 via Umbrella
Role Purpose:

The Control Rooms are critical to enable them to monitor, control and manage safety on the system 24/7 without fail and are essential for our client to deliver their core outcomes.
To provide robust weekly/monthly reporting and managing the governance, change and stakeholder relationships to provide performance clarity and clear communications to all levels.
Seek to continuously implement improvements from lessons learnt.
Key Accountabilities:
Define and implement governance structure, processes, and standards for project management within the construction project to ensure alignment to objectives/milestones
Build credible relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, colleagues and project team members
Track project progress against established plans and key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare and present regular reports to stakeholders, including project status, risks, and issues.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, ensuring that appropriate mitigation strategies are in place. Facilitate risk workshops and maintain a risk register.
Implement quality management processes to ensure that project deliverables meet required standards and specifications.
Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring that all changes are documented, assessed, and approved through established change control processes.
Provide training and support to new starters and team members on the project details, project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned and best practices from the project, and integrating these into future projects and processes.
Ensure project complies to required standards and policies with regular audits being recorded and tracked.
Knowledge, Experience and Technical Know How:
Experience in project management roles, preferably within the construction industry, demonstrating the ability to manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
Prior experience working within a PMO or similar structure, with a focus on governance & reporting.
Good experience of working with planning software e.g. MS Project and MS Excel within an MS SharePoint environment. Competent user of MS Office suite (Word, Excel and MS Projects).
Detailed knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Project Management including its effects on the implementation and delivery of project objectives.
Experience of working across large and complex project teams and with multiple parties (internal and external).
Able to demonstrate the ability to challenge project managers/teams on their plans and resource assignment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in preparing reports, presentations, and facilitating meetings with stakeholders.
