Company Description Clenergy works in the exciting world of electric vehicles by producing software to manage and take payment for charging. We specialise in helping companies manage their network of charge points here in the UK and through Europe. Our in house management software is also deployed on charge points in other countries like the UAE, Canada and New Zealand. We are currently working with several large government organisation's to help them transition from petrol/diesel vehicle to electric in order to reduce their CO2 emissions. Job description We currently have a opening for an enthusiastic person with a high level of experience who is happy to get " Hands On " to take on the duty of Head of Finance. This role will involve: RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensuring that an organisation meets the necessary tax, permit and licensing requirements Collaborating with an executive team in establishing more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of a company’s ledger Overseeing all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and disclosures Providing executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategising Monitoring spending and creating budgets Preparing company reports for investors Performing financial analysis on the company to predict financial health Finding ways to reduce costs and increase profits Collaborating with management to create funding strategies Summarising budget trends, analysing deficiencies and reporting variances to executives Taking care of tax preparation duties or liaising with external tax accountants for tax preparation Ensuring adherence to national and international financial regulations Overseeing a company’s payroll and bookkeeping system Developing automated accounting programs to help increase productivity and business efficiency Supervising the internal accounting team and assisting their growth Working with our development team to create/update automated systems between our platform and accounting software packages General bookkeeping (ie: bank reconciliation, invoicing, raising purchase orders on Xero accounting software. Client account reconciliation Requirements DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Highly proficient IT skills including MS Office packages. Excellent working knowledge of Xero. FCCA (or equivalent) Able to take the initiative, work successfully under pressure, and intelligently assess and anticipate the requirements of the Leadership Team.
