What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you ready to change the course of children's lives? We are looking for great people to join the founding team at The Compass School, a small school for pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. We are growing and are looking for excellent teachers and support staff from Primary (Key Stage Two) and Secondary (Key Stage Four).
As we are growing, we are looking for inspirational teachers with a passion for SEN and a creative, innovative approach to developing and delivering the curriculum. Join us and to make an impact on the learning and life chances of our students. We are recruiting for primary and secondary, including subject specialists for Science and Humanities.
We are looking for candidates with the motivation, resilience and determination to ensure that students make progress, improve their experience of education and prepare them to lead fulfilling lives.
We will educate young people between the ages of 7-16 who have a wide range of Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. Many of the pupils may also be on the Autistic Spectrum.
You will be supported in your role by experienced special education leaders who will be available to offer advice and guidance as the school moves forward under their leadership. Significant training and development are available through opportunities for professional development, research, teacher training and collaboration between schools and across phases.
