Watson Woodhouse is seeking a skilled and motivated Crime Secretary to join our dynamic team. As a Crime Secretary, you will support our solicitors in criminal cases and legal proceedings, and provide regular reception cover.
Responsibilities
1. Assist in managing case files, including organizing and maintaining documentation, evidence, and records.
2. Coordinate appointments, meetings, and court hearings for our solicitors.
3. Prepare and draft legal documents, reports, and correspondence.
4. Maintain communication with relevant parties.
5. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and ensure data integrity.
6. Provide administrative support, including managing calendars and handling correspondence, while maintaining electronic filing systems.
Requirements
1. Previous experience as a secretary or administrative assistant in a legal setting is preferred.
2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse individuals.
4. Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and confidentiality requirements is advantageous.
5. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
