Due to the continued growth and expansion of our UK Security and Governance team, we are looking to recruit a new team member.
The successful candidate will work as part of a small team, supporting AECOM strategy in providing secure environments which meet client requirements. Reporting to the IT Security Governance Manager, this role will involve supporting AECOM’s current and future classified networks at OFFICIAL SENSITIVE level and above.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Third-Party Vendor Management of AECOM UK Secure Network (ASN)
* Helping to maintain a strong relationship with the third-party vendor and challenging where appropriate.
* Attending regular meetings with the third-party vendor to discuss outstanding actions, challenges, new requests, and future roadmap for the ASN.
Governance
* Supporting the IT Security Governance Manager with the Governance Group, who oversee operational issues, licensing, and budget requests for the ASN.
* Sharing agendas in advance and taking minutes for circulation.
* Help to represent IT Security Governance internally at business stakeholder meetings.
Service Management
* Attending regular service review calls with third-party vendor and ensuring the continued operational improvement of the ASN.
* Help to support internal ASN users, ensuring that issues are escalated for resolution as required.
* Communicating incidents and/or outages to end users and keeping them up to date on resolution plans.
* Help to maintain and deliver the ASN print capabilities across the UK estate.
* Improve the ASN user experience, by helping to ensure processes are clearly documented and communicated to users.
Software Management
* Help to guide business stakeholders on how to add new software to the ASN, and in the most cost-effective manner.
* Ensuring that software upgrades are carried out by the third-party vendor in a timely manner.
* Work with the third-party vendor to obtain quotes, presenting them to the business for approval, and raising purchase orders where necessary.
License Management
* Help to actively manage the ASN license pool, ensuring that requests for new licences are met and that licences which are no longer required are recovered.
* Support the scaling of the ASN to meet the business demands.
Security
* Under the direction and guidance of the IT Security Governance Manager, assist with security review and assessment activity as required.
* Work with the Bid teams to ensure that the business is maximising the value of the ASN and ensure its usage where required by clients.
Higher-level classification capability
* Support the IT Security Governance Manager with the on-going development of AECOM UK’s higher-level classification system.

Qualifications
Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?
Here’s what we’re looking for:
* Essential to have experience of business stakeholder and/or third-party vendor management.
* Desirable to have experience of working in an IT department or role, although on-the-job training will also be provided.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently but also with a multitude of different stakeholders.
* Must be a sole UK national (historical or previous nationalities may be an issue and must be revealed).
* Eligible and willing to obtain Security Clearance (SC), which ideally requires that you have been resident in the UK for the past 5 years.
